If you have purchased a drive for your LabSat 4 and it is unformatted, you can format it directly with your LabSat 4 unit. LabSat 4 can detect connected SSDs that are unformatted and will give you the option to format them as ext4.
- Connect the blank SSD to the LabSat 4.
- Power on the LabSat 4 unit.
- Navigate to the Menu option and press the OK button to open the Menu.
- Press OK again to open the File Menu.
- Navigate to the Format SSD option and press the OK button to open the Format SSD Menu.
- Navigate to the required format (ext4) and press the OK button to select it.
- When asked to confirm, press the OK button with Yes highlighted to complete the formatting.
