Note: This is not backwards compatible with the previous version of the Pit Lane Timer (RLVBPIT01).
Occasionally, Racelogic will release new versions of firmware (internal code) for the Pit Lane Timers, often to introduce new features.
You can download the latest firmware file here.
- Download the upgrade file from the link above and unzip it.
(Your unit must be registered to receive the required login details for the download, Register here) - Place the .upgrade file on the root directory of an SD card (not in the media or any other folder).
- Make sure that the unit is not powered.
- Insert the SD card into the side panel of your unit.
- Press and hold the UP button while you connect power to the unit to start the upgrade process.
- The unit will display a progress bar until the upgrade is complete and will reboot as part of the process.
IMPORTANT
Even if the display has been set to inverted in the settings, the buttons will keep their original functions for the firmware update process. You must make sure that you press and hold the button that points Up when the Racelogic logo is readable and above the display.
