This version of the VBOX LapTimer firmware includes some changes and brings additional functionality to the unit.

Many of the changes have been made as a direct result of customer feedback requesting new features. Some changes have been made to fix bugs and other issues found during testing.
We strongly recommend that all users upgrade to the latest firmware release to take advantage of the new features and benefit from the improved stability.

Support for V2 Hardware added
- Delta V LED brightness can be adjusted from the Display menu.

- LapTimer can now be used with Video VBOX Pro, Video VBOX Lite, VBOX Speed Sensor and VBOX with the latest firmware.
Occasionally, we release new versions of the firmware for the LapTimer units. This is usually to introduce new features and improvements and to fix bugs.
Download the latest Firmware file here.
- Download the upgrade file from the link above and unzip it.
(Your unit must be registered to receive the required login details for the download, Register here) - Place the .upgrade file on the root directory of an SD card (not in the media or any other folder).
- Make sure that the unit is not powered.
- Insert the SD card into the side panel of your unit.
- Press and hold the UP button while you connect power to the unit to start the upgrade process.
- The unit will display a progress bar until the upgrade is complete.
- Power the unit off and on again to complete the upgrade.
IMPORTANT
Even if the display has been set to inverted in the settings, the buttons will keep their original functions for the firmware update process. You must make sure that you press and hold the button that points Up when the Racelogic logo is readable and above the display.
