Lap Timing with VBOX Omega

The cable loom (RLCAB163) is compatible with the following digital input devices:

• RLVBACS004 brake pedal mounted trigger
• RLVBACS009 handheld brake trigger (ideal to set gates when in track marker mode)

You can configure the digital input as either a Track Marker or an Event Marker via the VBOX Setup Software or the Front Panel of the unit.

1. Select Track Marker as your Digital input.
2. Press and immediately release the Lap input switch as you cross the start/finish line.
3. You must be moving >5 km/h to do this and follow the normal line along the track. 
4. VBOX Omega notes the point and direction of travel, then creates a virtual line perpendicular to your line of travel 25 m wide.

2. Press and hold the switch for >5 seconds before releasing as you cross the finish line. 
3. You must be moving >5 km/h to do this and follow the normal line along the track.
4. VBOX Omega notes the point and direction of travel, then creates a virtual line perpendicular to your line of travel 25 m wide.

2. Double-press the input switch twice within a very short period.
3. You must be moving >5 km/h to do this and follow the normal line along the track.
4. VBOX Omega notes the point and direction of travel, then creates a virtual line perpendicular to your line of travel 25 m wide.

1. Select Track Marker as your Digital input. 
2. Give the input switch a short press followed by a longer button press (>1.5 seconds).
3. In each case, VBOX Omega will recognise the lead edge of the first pulse as the activation in order to set the associated virtual line at the exact point that the user first presses the switch.
