VBOX Power Backup (RLVBPBU)
The external VBOX Power Backup is designed to be used with the VBOX 3i and IMU04. Its purpose is to prevent the VBOX 3i and IMU04 losing power during a test when the power supply is temporarily interrupted, e.g. during engine cranking, when the vehicle stalls, or the VBOX unit has been disconnected too early. By maintaining power supply to the VBOX 3i, the product prevents data loss and the need to repeat system initialisation procedures, such as the vehicle manoeuvres required to calibrate the IMU Kalman filter.
